One reason IM hasn't really taken complete control is the forums and chat programs are the places where you meet people in the first place to be able to send them IMs.
A: No, I do not use the "notify me when a reply is posted" option unless it's something important.

Hadn't thought of that... It makes sense though.. Gotta meet the people somewhere other than school... then again younger kids are probably just as happy meeting people at school.
Maybe I am just old school hehe

it was amazing. definitly the best spring break ive ever had. im sad to be back. i ate so much pineapple and mango im suprised i crave it still. i got a nice little tan goin now as well. i danced alot and laughed at least twice every hour i was awake. im still smiling. i think it went better than i had ever imajened.
