Week 12

Postby Seizure » Fri Aug 15, 2003 3:18 am

This week I want to do something kind of open. I want to do "contradiction."

people that say don't judge, usually judge. people that call themselves trend killers follow the trend of their friends... The United States prides itself on freedom of faith, but when entering the military they ask god for guidance, the pledge is under god, our money has god all over it, and to cater to christians and other faiths that don't allow drinking on Sundays, by making it is illegal to purchase alcohol on Sundays (at least everywhere I have lived), etc.

I think you all got the idea.. there's a million possibilities out there... be creative and have some fun with it.

This will end this coming Friday. Good luck....

this topic reminded me of a friend i used to have who contradicted herself all the time...i mean in very bad ways! she would change herself purposely for someone else, being someone she absolutely wasn't. usually it was for guys she liked...then, she would use them for sex and change herself again for another guy. sometimes, i wonder why i was blinded so much to not see that...

And Again

Sweet little girl,
innocent and pure,
she took away the glances
from the good guys,
so sure
that she would be the one.

Used them and again,
i thought it was his fault,
and suddenly it hit me,
innocence came to a halt.

Big bad girl,
dressed in all black,
she took away the glances,
from the bad guys,
taken aback
by her faulty dead beauty.

Used them and again,
i thought it was his fault,
and suddenly it hit me,
bad in black came to a halt.

Smart smart girl,
miss goody two shoes now,
she took away the glances,
from the smart guys,
thinking "how?"
could she be so perfect?

Used them and again,
i knew it was her fault,
because suddenly it hit me,
everything she was came to a halt.

ehh....i don't like it...heh

Hmmm...

Listen to your parents
is what people always say
Your mother knows
what's best for you
Therefore
you must obey

Mom told me that
I shouldn't fight
It doesn't solve
a thing
Then slapped me
right across the face
a welt
left from her ring

Be honest
Always tell the truth
Don't EVER tell a lie
" Santa Claus"
is watching you
and he's
a special guy

I wonder if
" Just be yourself "
means exactly
what they say
I wonder if
they'd feel the same
If I told them
I was gay

haa haa... this was a fun one. I hope i made someone smile.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean. I can submit a new one if you like.

Opposites

I have much gumption in me
I would tend to believe that.
Haughty but not supercilious,
Confident and not afraid,
Terse yet full of aphorisms.
Nothing is concocted
Or even hypocritical.
There are no charades
Or even maliciousness.
Dexterous and not lame,
Blissful yet melodramatic,
Man but also woman.

Boy, do I have a Girl Poem for you

"Hey, I'm getting married"

Hey, I'm getting married, the surgery is done,
When I wake in the morning, I will be a girl!
Thank you lord, for mornings, last night I had a dream
I had become a girl, can't imagine, living, in their world!

Hye, you guys, this is a wake up call, for all you, Macho men
THINK about the broken hearts, and all, we put them through
THINK about the labor pains, you and I, could never make it through
THINK about them, taking care of us, when we're sick & throwing up!

THINK about those breast exams, Damn, think, I've dreamed enough!
This is for us macho guys, who think, we are so tough
THINK about those little girs, we treat, so, damn rough!

Author's Comments:

The devil made me write this, its the only time he ever said anything, that made any sense, or, perhaps, it wasn't him at all.
