Hello everyone :). I said a while back that I would be posting and everything, but I never really got around to actually doing it..hehe...I found myself really missing this website today, so I decided to post some poems and see what everyone was up to. Well, as an update on myself, I'm still married, and now pregnant with my first child! It's going to be a girl, and she is due on September 9th, 2007..so really soon! Life has been pretty hectic for me lately, with the prenancy and getting everything ready for the new arrival. I think I've matured a bit from all of it, which is good, hehe..also I am thinking of joining the Coast Guard some time after the birth. Finances are tight for my husband and I, and we are not covered medically. So the military would provide that for us, and for my child, which is very important to me. Coast Guard would be the best branch for me to join, because it would be less likely that my family would have to move, since I already live where there is a base, but of course you never know. And it would be less likely for me to be deployed overseas in the Coast Guard. Anyways, enough ramblings about myself, I am glad to hear that everyone else is doing well! Congrats on all of your accomplishments :). It's great to be back

Welcome back RinRin.. Its always good to see a familiar face in the the darkness of cyber space hehe... Congrats on the upcoming new addition to your family.. I bet you are getting really excited about it.. The forum has been pretty slow lately.. But never know as some of the original site writers happen back passing thru we might pick up in here again..

As for me I have not been doing too much writing.. Just don't have much time these days to just ponder and let my mind go. We are still working on the house. The summer heat has slowed us down abit along with some problems with behr paint.

hint: don't try to use Behr paint and primer and do an eggshell sailboat blue wall.. (cobalt blue) It streaks and will not cover proper no matter what we have tried and we have tried in over an over and over again.

But once we get that painting done we will be on a forward trend again. I am still working in cell phone customer service. Never a dull day..

Other than that just day in day out repetitions of daily life.

Hope every one else is doing good out there.

Hey everyone. Congrats on graduating luc! hats exciting and quite the acomplishment. Im worried for when i am to graduate, i still have no idea what my major is going to be. And once again, ive changed it. Is it really this hard, or am i just being a pain about it? Its compleatly frustrating, i feel like the only person who keeps changing their major... and my little sister who is about to start college has known exactly what shes wanted for the past 2 years, so shes heading off to nursing school in the fall. My little brother is going in to kindergarden and he is convinced he is going to be working with The Magic School Bus (kids tv show). Hes adorable and says some of the funniest things. My other little brother is still to little to go to school, hell be starting next year in pre-school but he is the smartest little 2 year old i have ever talked to. He LOVES books and he already knows his ABC's (and what sounds they make), his numbers 1-20 (in english and spanish) and can recognize each letter and number by looking at it. On top of that all he watches tons of Dora The Explorer so he will randomly start saying things in spanish which will confuse the hell out of me because i never took spanish, i only picked up random words from working at the resturant. but other than that, i still get glaried at when i take him somewhere, people always make it a point to tell me i was too young to have a kid, and how its a shame im not married and blah blah blah. Now i just smile and let them finish what they have to say before i inform them he is just my little brother. the looks on their faces are priceless.

Well i guess that leaves me. Im still working at Red Robin. It will be a year in october and ive been a waitress since December so im thinking about finding another job. Im trying to save up money to go on a one month trip to Europe next year with my sister and some of our friends. And two jobs will deffinitly make that process a faster and less bumpy one. So i will be on the job hunt when i get back from my family vacation at the end of next week. We leave friday for disneyland (2 days) then a cruise through the catalina islands for 6 days. Other than that excitment that is just around the corner, im just trying to spend a lot of time with my sister and more time just trying to get better. Im not sure if i shared this but ive been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and its been nasty to me so far. Because of it i have to stay home this year and go to a community college, which isnt all that bad, its no where near as expensive as the university and the doctors i have here are specialists so theyve been doing their best to keep me from fatal TH3 levals. i have a boyfriend, his name is matt and hes in the army. he got sent off last month and i just want him to come home already. i miss him so much and look forward to the letter i get every week. hes due home in late november but with how things are going, that date could change. i just want him home alive, thats all that matters. anyways... thats about it for me. Sorry this is so long, i just miss everyone and i guess its nice to tell someone whats going on in my life.

i miss you all! hope everything is going well. Best wishes.

Hey Leah don't put too much pressure on yourself picking a major right off.. Get all the core stuff that is required by pretty much all the majors like the english and math and the extended highschool type. classes as you work at those and get them out of the way you will get ideas as to which direction you want to go.. That way when you do finally decide you won't have to be distracted by trying to fit all those off subjects in between your major classes.

Just a thought.. Hope you get to have your trip to Europe and you health gets under control..

Rin Rin,

Tell your husband bawwk bawwk baaagAAAAk!! (hard to do a chicken in writing hehe) I look forward to reading some of his stuff if he gets up the nerve to share.. The first post is always the hardest :)

Hey everyone! Decided to come and update you all :). On September 15, 2007 at 6:12 pm EST, my little girl was born at 8 lbs 6 oz, and 20 3/4 inches long! :D It was a very long labor, and I have honestly never felt such pain in my entire life! But it was all worth it! Her name is Amalyn Rose, and her daddy and I are so happy! Life as a new parent is definitely a little difficult. It's such a big change in my life...I've had to rearrange everything to fit snugly around my little butterfly. (Butterfly is the nickname my mom gave her..hehe..) But things have been going quite smoothly, and I'm just glad not to be pregnant anymore! :P Well, there ya have it! RinRin is a mommy!!!

:D

WOW! Everyone I know seems to be pregnant or having kids. CONGRATS rin rin. The name you picked is lovely. You must be suffereing from lack of sleep but like becky said, you were a teenager once, the hardest is yet to come. Now i need to adopt or something. *sigh* i should probly graduate college first... and go to med school... I just want it all to be over with.

new stuff with me: WELL the day after halloween i got into a car accident. I had just left my house and i was still in a residential area when some guy came out of no where and went around me, cutting me off and hitting his breaks, he was soo close that i hit the breaks and tried to avoid hitting the car and at that exact second i was blinded by the sun. SO i hit a parked truck. I was only going 21 miles an hour and i had my seatbelt on, but because the truck was lifted, my bumper went under the truck, and caught on the trucks frame, ripping the bumper off of my car like a can-opener. Because i wasnt going fast enough my airbag didnt go off, and my seatbelt didnt lock. My chest hit the steering wheel and my head hit the rearview mirror and then went through my windsheild. The second my chest hit the steering wheel i blacked out. I dnt remember getting out of my car and calling my mom, i was 6 or 7 houses away from my own home so i knew where i was. The guy who cut me off didnt stop and see if i was okay, he just left. One minuete i was dricing, the next im sitting on the curb with neigbors around me and blood all over the place. I was deffinitly lucky. If i haddent been driving the car i was, i would have been dead. If my legs werent so long, i would have gone further through the windshild.

I was taken in an ambulance, neck brace and all, clothes cut off (i had just gotten off of work and i had run home to get a different pair of shoes because i was on my way to a night class so they cut off my work uniform). I was taken to trauma and i was in the emergency room for 5 hours. In the end, i walked away with 8 stapels across the top of my head, like an inch behind my hair line ( i have a tennis ball sized spot where they shaved my head to staple it back together, it was cool to watch) and a little more than 20 stiches, across the back of my right ear, and randomly though out the right side of my head where i had puncture wounds. Other than that, just minor cuts, and some pretty bruises (my favorate was the steering wheel bruise). All in all my car was totaled. I bought a brand new car that i hope to have for at least 10 years that i have been babying since i bought it on friday. I got my staples out on sunday and i am back at work. with a scarf to hide my scar and my already returning hair.

Other than that, i havent been up to a whole much. Just working and trying to get college over with. I have a boyfriend now, we started dating on halloween, and hes a really great guy. He called when i was being put into the ambulance, and he was at the hospital less 10 min, after i had gotten admitted. Hes been waiting on me hand and foot ever since. Bringing me soup and flowers ever time they start to die. Hes a sweetheart and hes been trying to make sure im not hurting. All the bruises are gone, all i have now is a constant headache and a few scars. Im sorry i havent been in here lately, i miss my dreamers family sooo much and i hope ALL OF YOU are doing great. I send my love and big hugs to you all.

Oh no! Leah, I'm so glad you're ok..that must have been so traumatizing! Have you been afraid to drive since then? My friend was in a car accident and couldn't drive for a few months afterwards, because she was so petrified. I'm so sorry that happened to you :(...I hope you heal up nicely! It's a great thing that you have a boyfriend who will be there for you always :). He sounds like quite a catch! Well, again, hope you feel better soon!

In my arena, Amalyn is growing very quickly..she'll be 3 months old Dec. 15th! She's beginning to smile and laugh, and her poop is turning all kinds of colors..hehe! I can't wait until Christmas, because it will be her first, and her Great Grandmother will see her for the first time. It's gonna be great :). Hope everyone else is doing well!
