Today, I Took Some Time, And Spoke With My Mom
14 June, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
Seems it has been to long, she was busy and so, was I
Finally, I took some time, sat down and talked to my mom
At first, I didn't know where to begin, yet my heart, was full of words
So, we just talked about everything, like when I was a child
I finally, took some time, to speak with my mom. She said
Do you remember when? And she went on and on, memories
Came back to me, with every..., Do you remember when?
We talked, went over some things, that were bothering me
Like, I was a child, back in Mom's arms, she comforted me
Listen child, I loved it when mom called, me child, my eyes
Would light up, my mom was about to say, something to me
Every word has been with me, I tell her so, she is part of me
Seems it has been to long, she was busy and so, was I
Finally, I took some time, sat down and talked with mom
She loves all the flowers, and all the cards, sent in her name
Most of all, she loved, the wild flowers, we sat by her coffin
