Do I See, Do I Know, Shall I
Author: Clive B Ringshall
With my eyes open wide I see you,
With my ears tuned to your soft tones,
I hear you.
With my sense of being, I feel you.
With all that I know I watch you.
With all that comes my way,
I want to share it with you.
The tender touch,
The laughter and the joy,
The warmth of your being close by,
These things I feel can open a heart.
Do I dare?
Dare I try, what if? It is all a lie?
I ask myself so many times,
Shall I, should I?
Dig deep inside, ask and then shall you know.
Look deep into my eyes, they will help you mellow.
Of course we should!
Of course we can!
Of course we shall!
What is life for if not for moving on?
With feelings and pleasure in our midst,
Trust comes as a friend to prove this test.
Take hold of fear,
Do not let it near.
For times come to change.
Friendship of a great range.
Opening all for you to see,
For you to hear,
For you to touch,
And swim in the sense of me...
