i miss the compassionate
and loving things that you did
your touch made a difference upon me

your long walk and journey into my life,
touched me in more ways
that one could ever possibly be touched

i miss you greetin' me every mornin'
with a smile, that lite the universe
it was amazing how you always
noticed when i wasn't around

i always felt so important
so special
yet, you were heavily involved
in your daily business tasks
i loved and respected you for always
makin' time for me

our issues were never 'bout money.
yet we hardly had any to spare
if a bill got paid or not
we knew eventually it would

most importantly
was how long will we be standin'
and breathin'
we had more than love to share

you believed in taking the time.
to share your day with me

you always turned yourlife around
to offer me that extra touch
that extra word
went that extra mile for me
always took real good care
of me as you promised my dad

your love always stood out in a crowd
the simple things you did
were always great and bigger things to me

Sweetheart, you were my greatest gift
and i will always hold you deep in my heart
now i turn my life around
to make time for you
i miss your touch
to me you meant so much..
