I Hear You Cry Out, Mom I Need My Dad

it breaks my heart
to see you
goin' and facin' this with so much pain
you feel so all alone
not much i can do or offer
except continue to offer you my unconditional love
hurts me more when
i hear you cry out
with tears in your eyes
mom i need my dad
i felt that pain in my stomach
and in my heart
i almost lost you so many times
and God will help you make it through
i'll sit by your side day and night
until healin' restores you back to health
baby girl i wish i could
just for you
bring you daddy back to life
his little girl you will always be and remain
i tried to bring someone into our life
to share what dad would of
i couldn't even do that
i shared the pain ,that you and i share
and , i never heard from him after that
i knew that you would need a fathers touch
but i guess what i shared with him was too much
baby , i am so sorry this could not be
it was not you
it was because of me
if it is of any comfort
i know dad is watchin' you from above
and you will always have his love
so just keep his memory
alive in your heart
as i continue to do
i watch what you are goin' through
and facin' alone
even if you have someone whom loves you
i know the emptiness you feel
not havin' your dad
i know what it is like to love and miss a dad
i wish i could offer you some comfortin' words
i know if dad were here he would know what to say
he would take you in his arms
and hug you so tight
just as he would say
Princess everything will be alright
i hope you feel my heart
it is sincere
together we will get ,
through this endless pain

sometimes a daughter goes through life with a touch of pain, and a dad is the only one whom cain bring comfort in and through his words.. |
