The Day That I Died

My head was full of confusion
when you looked at me that way
I saw the sadness I knew I would feel soon too
My whole world turned upside down
as I watched my everything walk away
I could actually feel my heart breaking
It was cracking from the deepest part in my soul
It felt like the ground had just been ripped out from underneath me
I felt more alone than I've ever felt before
No one understood
They couldn't possibly know what it felt like to have no purpose in life
I had lost you
I lost my world
I lost my heart
because you stole it and I never really got it back
I lost my breath
my air
I lost my life
I died that day
