I Fear The Shadow Of My Heart And Soul
My heart feels, like a shadow
Lost in the dark?
I worry that my soul, will wonder off
and get lost?
I fear these tears, I still shed
as I lay alone in my bed?
I wonder,when my heart speaks
is it even, bein’ heard?
I start feelin’ sad, when my heart separates
from my soul when I close my eyes?
I am so afraid, of wakin’ up
Findin’ my shadow drownin' with-out your love

Lady T Bird! A heart can't thump-thump or beat its rhythmic beat without love. It can't survive without compassion or passion for that matter. Like your last two lines in your poem above there! Always the best! Love Queen, you probably have a heart so big, the whole world could fit inside it. Beautiful words Lady T!

Shadows seem to be, the only light in our lonely hearts, they shine with love from past times. Do not fear, the quiet whisper of your heart, listen to every word, silence is, the partner, of a loving and searching heart. This is a poem soaked with love, from a woman's heart.

Love, to have it can hurt almost as much as being without it and yet that is the adventure of loving to the fullest extent, such sweet pain, a wonderful ache. Truly this poem expresses both these aspects beautifully. Wonderfully done Terrie, absolutely wonder.
