I Breathe The Water, And See Only Black
22 November, 2005
Author: Melancholy Child
So many feelings
Trapped inside
All she wanted
Was to say goodbye
I feared for her
Her feelings I shared
Both trying to escape
Whats too hard to bear
Death came too soon
I’d lost the one
That helped me through
My trials, each one
Without her
A purpose I lack
So I breath the water
And see only black

Mike (82.35.78.186) -- Wednesday, November 23 2005, 01:51 pm The title of this poem intrigues me.. Two different senses (tasting the water through breathing, and seeing the empty black) joined in one sentence.. I love it (this is how I see it, not necessarily true though.)Loved the poem too, great read. |
