Fifteen Years Old, She Felt, The Touch Of God
Author: ShyHeart

vinebar

She is fifteen years old, harmones race through her young heart
She rides her bicycle to the country store, some milk and cheese
And oh, can I have a slice of bacon, please? She jumps back on her bike
Then she heads for home down that old dirt road, surpries, she sees

A meadow full of sunflowers, that she had passed by, she stops
Gets off her bike, runs into the field, sun flowers reach to her
She lays down in the field, sees the bumble bees and honey bees
Dance, all over her, she feels the sunshine reach her heart, she cries

Just, fifteen, sun-flowers, bumble bees and honey bees, fly over her
Sun-flowers cover her in the warmth of the sun-shine, she begins to cry
Just fifteen, she has felt the love of God all over her, sees one butterfly
Smile at her virginity, again she cries, gets on her bike and goes home

Her mother asks, child, why do you smile and glow, you never did that before?
You have been to the country store so, many times before, why, do you glow
She replies, Hey Mom, I'm fifteen right? Mom says yes, what is your point?
She smiles and says, Mom, I just made love to God, my first time, it was

More than I thought it could be, Mom, I made love to God, laid in a field
Of sun-flowers, honey bees and bumble bees flew all over me
Then, I saw this butterfly, hover over me, I saw her smile down at me
Okay child, where is the Milk, Cheese and Bacon, here it is mom, I felt God
