Goodbye, Good Morning, Our Love Ends Last Night

Where did you go?
I thought that you were here.
I woke to find on your pillow.
Just a lonely tear.
A note beside it,
It says that we are through.
But the meaning of it.
Has just left with you.
I can’t find an answer,
Lost in dismay.
Lost in my mind,
Without a word to say.
Why this way,
Without an uttered word.
Don’t know where you are now.
You stole away with my soul,
My source of being.
Now I feel just sorrow and confusion.
While the rest has blown away.
In a wind of illusion,
Don’t cry for a moment.
Don’t think anymore,
Maybe I had this coming.
By only wanting more.
Goodbye, this morning.

What a way to start the day.

This is sad. It's especially hard when you don't know why, and all you do know is that you'll never know. This is a very expressive write.

thanks for reading my poem. there is another version of this poem i've written. It's called Hello, Goodbye,....and the rest of this title. I reworked this poem into a song, it's mostly the same though.
