How I Feel About You

Listen to these words
This the only time I'll say them
Look into my eyes
So you know the truth within them

You mean the world to me
And I'll aways be hiding here
In the safe spot in my heart
Where I hold your love too dear

You drive me nuts and crazy
And yet it makes me want you more
But I keep thinking that won't happen
Because you'll just walk out the door

I don't want to just say it
Because anyone can say those words
I want to do everything to show you
That we're just the best couple of nerds

I want you to believe me
As much as I want to do
I want you to trust me when
I say that I'll always love you

------- Author's Notes -------

I really haven't written anything poem-related in a long time... So I can understand any criticism towards its ignorant structure. Anyway, this is towards the love of my young life. I loved him ever since the day I met him and it took me ten months to convince him that he shouldn't be afraid to be with me. And we've been on and off a couple times for stupid things but we're still together now and as much as he aggrivates me sometimes- It's like yin-yang.
We're both different and the same at the same time but we still need a little bit of each other to be complete. But overall, I want him to know- I love you and that's not in just words.
