When I take time to look at this world
With all the beauty and mystery it holds
It’s excitement, the thrill of the un-known
It’s simple complexity, How it ever is changing
I know that there is a God somewhere

I know bad things happen to good people
But I have seen miracles that cannot be defined
I have known the pain of loss and have bitterly cried
Yet I have heard the endless joy of a child’s laughter
And I know, that there is a God somewhere

I have experienced sadness and heart ache unto death
When the ones I loved the most have hurt me
But still, I'm here, a better love and friend for my trials
Besides my pain is but a memory when I behold your smile
So I know, that there is a God somewhere

I have one regret, for hurting one of those dearest to me
But I have known forgiveness from the power of love
So, do not fret when nightmares come
Nor let the words of other bring your countenance down
For I know, that there is a God somewhere

I Know why a hug from you feels so good
Why birds seem always willing to sing
Why flowers bloom with such perfect beauty
Don’t you see it Rosy, look around you
You have to Know, there is a God somewhere

I am not a better person than you
It’s not that I am more wise or more understanding
I am do not have more inner strength than you
Believe it or not I make mistakes too
I just know, that there is a God somewhere

And I fear that God. Nice poem Ing! I'm sure if they read this, then it'll open up their understanding and be an answer to their questions.

Believing there is a God gives people some hope and make us look at the beauty in things. Thanks for your write . I believe and now I'm content knowing that something or someone will make a difference in how I see things. great writing. thanks
