The Forrest Of Glee
7 March, 2007

I am the King Of The Forrest Of Glee
And a bit of caution to the strangers I see.
You'll do well to pay a small homage to me,
Thus you must pay a small ransom or flee.
A small token is all that I request,
And it needn't be that of your very best.
Say give me a pretty feather of two,
or a nice shiny pebble of color would do.
Just place them there at the base of my tree,
Before you enter my Forrest Of Glee.
Now if you don't, you'll have my reply
And I'll make you pay in the blink of an eye.
With a nod of my limbs, you'll jump like a frog
Or hoot like an owl, or bark like a dog.
You'll swim like a fish all your life thru,
These are things that will happen to you.
We creatures here, we get along well,
We've looked after each other, that one can tell.
If you wish to join out big family,
Just leave your small ransom
At the base of my tree.
