I thought you were here
I woke to find your pillow
With only a lonely tear
The note you left behind
Saying we are through
But all of its meaning
Has just left with you

For doing this to me?

This is crushing me.

You stole away with my soul
How am i gonna live?
I didn’t see this coming
You looked so innocent
When you laid your head down
Just five hours ago
I laid right down next to you
That’s when your winds started to blow
In a wind of illusion
That is how you left
Couldn’t have seen this coming
I never would have guessed

I lye here all alone
Thinking and wondering
I will whip my slate clean
The future's about to begin
The snow has started to settle down
The sun gives way to the moon

Even more because i'm not with you

This is a song inspired greatly by a poem i wrote awhile ago entitled "Goodbye, Good Morning, Our Love Ends Last Night." Pretty much the same title, and the some of the meanings are still there. Hope you enjoy this version. |
