She Takes Me, To The Stars In Her Eyes

I have been beckoned,
From the kiss of an angel, into heaven.
As I slip off into this blissful state
My eyes glaze and head falls back,
Only to be caught by a cloud.
All I see is white, fields of innocence,
And rolling hills rolling forever.
I feel an embrace from behind me
And sense much passion in her arms
Floating, far above the distant ground,
She takes me away to another place.
This place is deep within her eyes
Deep in the vast seas…

I can see darkness, I can see light,
I can see the earth, I can see…
…the stars.

She takes me to another place
It’s out of this world, but I don’t feel scared.
I feel safe her in her arms,
With her in my arms, dancing on the clouds.
The only sounds, our breathing,
And the music of our hearts.
Synchronized beats and rhythms…

I don’t want to leave this place
This trance is an escape.

Very lovely....

Astounding, Miztrebor is the word that comes to mind when I read this poem. I especially love the lines "I feel an embrace from behind me/ And sense much passion in her arms/ Floating, far above the distant ground,/ She takes me away to another place."-Excellent! I'd like to once again comment on how I wish there were more love poems written at this site, rather than suicidal dark thoughts. Thats just horrid to come across, why embrace darkness when the light is so much sweeter. I LOVE love poems, yours was to die for! I loved it! Keep writing, I'll keep reading!
