We Belong That Way

The first time we touched,
I still feel the honesty running between you and I
I remember our kiss it surpassed any other before,
I still see your warming beauty that outshone any smile,
I still sense the softness of your skin warm next to mine,
I remember the first time you glowed,
Your surprise it happened that way,

Do you recall the first time we held?
We waited too long to miss that moment,
Do you recall each kiss we shared?
We both longed for the next,
Do you recall all the laughter we voiced?
Happiness we had and lost,
Do you recall the moments together?
Watching Telly lying together?
Do you recall the talks we had?
Always truthful never guessing,

I still feel you close to me
I remember Santa’s gift you gave,
I still see us together you see,
I still smell your perfume on me,
I remember your surprise when we danced that way
