Author: Don Fraser

Seven nights and six days ion the road, and I知 gonna be home today,
It will be next to her,
I will lay.

I have spent to many years on that road,
It always seemed,
I had to deliver that load.

Today I知 gonna quit,
I知 tired,
of that shit.

The things I have seen is plenty,
I have driven that truck,
When it was empty.

I drove it when it was overloaded,
I have driven it when
My belly was bloated.

Sometimes I was sick,
But of loads,
I never had my pick.

I went up hills and down,
When I知 late,
I was the clown.

There will be no more of that,
From now on I知 gonna,
Stay pat.

There will be no drivin for me,
I知 gonna stay home,
With my family.
