Through the day and the night
I think of the light
That shined from you to me
And showed me how to be
How we danced in the rain
How you eased all the pain
How you got me through the day
How you showed me the way
You are my superhero
My knight in shining armor
My prince charming
You're my angel from heaven
My one true love
My haven for hugs
My superhero
Through the dark and the shame
I smiled when you came
And saved me from the rope
Baby, you gave me hope
The storm is just about gone
And it's almost dawn
Please stay with me and hold me tight
Until the storm is out of sight
You are my superhero
My knight in shining armor
You're my angel from heaven
My one true love
My haven for hugs
My superhero
You've rescued me from my nightmare
I'm sorry if I stare
But I'm forever thankful
Because my heart is no longer hateful
I was stuck in hell
You pulled me from my shell
the sun is shining down on you
for everything you do
You are my superhero
