A video diary would have filled in that gap
but those missing years still need a map
and the Bible didn't seem to know
so where did the teen-age Jesus go?

--

His shining armour had turned to rust.
The age of chivalry was a bust!
The white knight entertained a new found lust
when his heterosexuality bit the dust!

--

Human folly made it very clear
that imperfection is always near
and building character by resisting fear
is a result of drinking too much beer!

--

A nightly occurrence behind this door
as intimacy is something they both deplore
and sadly not bothering to keep a score
when tedium is manifested through a snore!

--

I suppose the dead haven't given it much thought.
At the end of life lies this chosen lot
and their memory is no longer being sought
in this overgrown cemetery which time forgot!
