He saw the writing on the freshly painted wall.
Freedom of speech is found in any restroom stall
and as a purveyor of art he came to caress
this vanguard of words and its new address!

--

There's no lifeguard on duty for the human race
so responsibility is ours to rest this case
and try not to get in over one's head
although man's very nature is where it led!

--

The story of this fossil has been told.
47 million years is really quite old
and its body language may seem absurd
when the image in question was 'flipping the bird!'

--

On Death Row there is time to sit and think
what may have pushed you over the brink
and how much lower a person could sink
when the bartender poured you another drink!

--

From the bushman to the broker
from the wise man to the joker
someone is now naked and a choker
in the last hand of strip poker!
