I Can't Stop My Poems From Crying
21 May, 2009
Author: Karla Bardanza
The sun crawls under my sheets
And I can’t get to sleep.
My mind swallows my body
And my fears creep.
Oh! I dived into deep.
My soul flies in and out of me
And my night is a sea in despair.
There is no air in this tiny room.
I feed my eyes with pain
As I dig into my veins for some
Understanding.
I can’t stop my heart from dying.
I can’t stop my poems from crying.
My God is getting weak inside trying
To hide this feeling of helplessness.

Puppet (24.130.172.120) -- Monday, May 25 2009, 03:17 am Karla, do you think I could use this poem (or parts of this poem) as lyrics to a song? The lines are well-worded and flow nicely. Just so you know, I'm by no means a successful musician or anything, but if I make a song out of it I can definitely send it to you. |
