Dali woke up in one of Sigmund Freud's dreams.
The return to childhood is never what it seems
for toys who were abandoned and did not forget
that little boys grow up and show little regret!

--

In a parallel universe they concluded the search
by leaving all wisdom in the lurch
and like their cousins on the planet earth
the perfect cup of coffee is still seeking birth!

--

In this subjective view of your caress
enjoying art can lead to stress
if you rely on pretension and fail to confess
what is beautiful to you is someone else's mess!

--

His divine mission would define our week
but He paused briefly while at his peak
and when time is fleeting most of us still say
wouldn't it be lovely to retreat to an 8th day!

--

She has been waiting patiently and shedding tears
and time cannot subside these fears
during his absence of nearly 13 years!
