Forbidden Tales Of Darkness And Light: 5 Poems
17 June, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
In this eternity of bloodshed and ocean of tears
many lives were ruined by their nocturnal fears
and from out of the shadows his thirst still appears.
He's been lurking in the shadows for 500 years!
--
They captured lightning in a bottle with particular ease
so this is a promise and not a tease.
There are so many and we're eager to please.
A bottled orgasm brings you to your knees!
--
Lazy Caterpillar laying on the track.
He didn't see the train coming down on his back.
Fortunately he lived to see it all
as a SUV picked a bad time to stall!
--
He waited so discreetly until the 3rd date.
The lady in question would soon meet her fate.
After she entered his apartment poor Anne Tate
will be forever preceded by the word 'late.'
--
History took a barbaric look
as described in the world's heaviest book
and broke the back of many a man.
Try lifting it up if you can!
