He never sees the light of day.
This is where all the oldies play
suspended in rotation and a state of decay
as dead air is filled by the mausoleum DJ!

--

It was poorly scrawled by someone's hand
in a frantic effort to make you understand
this warning sign has the power to shock
and prove the dead are still able to talk!

--

Spitting out his words with venom and disdain
inner demons were conspiring to drive him insane
as the burden of success became an inseparable pain
and somehow nirvana escaped Kurt Cobain!

--

To solve this mystery and gain the prize
a potent imagination could only surmise
that the map of Atlantis was off the beaten track
and located in a box of Cracker Jack!

--

He strangled her with the radio cord.
Benny Goodman was a sound she always adored
and the broadcast still plays to commemorate
her ghostly return to 1938!
