I Have Seen The Face Of God

It was the dark of night, the stars and the moon were shining brightly, I as driving my eighteen wheel truck along the lonely highway listening to the talk show on the radio. When all of a sudden I saw someone or something on the road ahead of me, as I got closer to the figure, I saw it was a man with a dark beard and dressed in ancient looking clothes, he was't hitch-hiking he was just standing there. I though he might be a hippy but curiosity got the best of me. What is this wierdo doing out on the highway so late at night? I had to stop and find the answer. I was able to stop the truck right beside him.

He opened the door and climbed in and sat in the seat beside me. I asked him the question that I had asked myself.

My son, he began, your family is in grave danger. Go home to them. Without me even moving he got out of the truck and disappeared in the night.

At the next phone booth I tried to phone home. There was no answer. Where could they be so late at night? I phoned the local sheriffs office and asked them to check my house, and I would phone them back in an hour.

When I phoned them back they said you had better come home your family has been murdered in their beds.
