The soprano lost her golden voice.
The aging model has no choice.
Indelible moments can be so sublime
but that was back in another time.

Struggle and conflict without fail
is exempt from caution in this tale
and by comparison everything must pale.
Human misery will always prevail.

At Madame Tussaud's people stop and stare
into the eyes of infamy and its evil glare.
In the Chamber of Horrors you still can't relax.
All of your neighbours are now made out of wax!
---
Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder
so down to the pharmacy your wife did saunter.
"My man is uninterested and apt to ponder
and unless he perks up I'll be inclined to wander!"
---
Never share a toothbrush with a baboon.
This is the hallmark of a loony tune.
Your wisdom should improve with your age
even when you're a guest in his cage!
