This Haunted Torment Which Deceives The Mind: 5 Poems
21 October, 2009
Author: Colin Stewart
This embarrassment of riches leaves all others behind.
So deep so profound and one of a kind
but upon his delivery you're unable to find
the necessary recipe to inspire your mind!
---
Learn if you will in short order
the lack of harmony and disorder
which exploits human nature and its border
by trusting the hierarchy of the pecking order!
---
Joan of Arc flaunts heresy and struts her stuff!
With masculine dress she's kinda tough
but her runway chic is too hard to take
and as the flames grow higher she has alot at stake!
---
As the seasons change and the four winds still blow
Elizabeth Bathory dosen't seem to know
and sealed in her room by four walls of stone
the Countess of Blood must die alone!
---
A solitary nun must comprehend the crime
in a medieval monastery which vanished with time
and to wander restlessly without a sound
in search of her vestige and holy burial ground!
