The Waiting Game:

Everywhere I go I'm at the front of the line.
I was always impatient so it works out fine
but there are too many questions about my fate
and for that very reason I still must wait!

---

The Last Dating Service:

As a social animal I am bound to miss
what I remember from your everlasting kiss
as bravado is gone along with my wind and piss
when it all came down to only this!

---

A World Unplugged:

So unbearable is this silence it's rendered me numb.
In a half-hearted effort I begin to hum
and the faint whisper of these words sound so grim
when it came full circle to my favorite hymn!

---

Death of Consumerism:

This open door policy is too good to be true
as you enter a jewelry store and see a slew
of diamonds and gold with no asking price
because its market value has been put on ice!

---

Internet Offline:

Ominous is the darkness on every computer screen.
The highway is deserted like I've never seen!
Information has left my fingertips with this final nail
in the coffin which offers no incoming mail!

Who told you brother Colin

the world will end? Those scenarios you painted so well reveal only one thing:we need all of them in our lives...omg isn't it a waiting game?

Negativity and a nasty word doesn't get your point across.
