Between Our Ears Is A Canyon To Explore: 5 Poems

Into the principles of pleasure he has slid.
These basic instincts cannot be hid
and his craving continues for a bid
to satisfy the enormous appetite of the id!

---

Their agenda, we're afraid, isn't very clear.
A man will wander off and then disappear
by raising too many questions in this familiar refrain
so suspicion has become part of a woman's domain!

---

In your imagination it could only exist.
Moments like this were hard to resist
by leaving the ground in order to fly
and subscribe to a beauty which refused to die!

---

My name and address is on the tag
so I cannot escape what I must drag
and it's getting heavier when you cannot stray.
The blues are the baggage I carry today!

---

Life is like a teeter-totter!
When you're up, you're up.
When you're down, you're down
with no happy medium between joy and despair.
The balance we seek remains up in the air!
