This Ubiquitous Presence Of Love: 5 Poems

You're unaware of my visits and why I cried.
My feelings for you will never subside
about the day you became my bride
as I lay these flowers by your side!

---

Humans provide all the necessary clues
when hard times constitute our daily news
and part of living is just paying your dues
in supporting the backbone of the blues!

---

They've seen his face on a piece of toast
and as a hitchhiker heading to the coast
but Jesus is in my heart so I can boast
this is the safe haven he loves the most!

---

With the fight for freedom firmly denied
the story was told from only one side
and such facts were lost throughout the ages.
This book is filled with empty pages!

---

This moment with you would be sublime.
I started the pendulum and corrupted time
from the beginning of this journey at the back of a hearse.
It's never too late to go in reverse!
