The Photograph:
Yesterday I looked at you.
There's nothing else I could do
but to think of time and another dawn.
For you my dear I must carry on!
-----
Go with the flow:
Something happened to my husband Stan.
He quit on the idea of being a man
and after three long years on a waiting list
she is still too hard for me to resist!
-----
The Perfumed memory:
I feel you close. I feel you near.
For a moment I have you here.
You draw me into your sweet caress
with the familiar scent of this summer dress.
-----
Special Delivery:
I've shipped you off to parts unknown
but my cover, eventually, would be blown
when they located the body and identified the gender
and you came back home as return to sender!
-----
'Til death do us part:
Something here seems terribly wrong.
I didn't remember it to be this long
and there was a time I could be strong
when they played our wedding song!

| Witch of Oz (124.181.18.189) -- Thursday, March 4 2010, 05:36 pm Once again you have teased and provoked my senses. Very tender emotions evoked in "The perfumed memory" and "'Til death do us part". The "Go with flow" stanza was very cheeky, very clever and very Colinesque. As usual your writing often moves your readers out of their intellectual and emotional comfort zones. Thank you for keeping us on our toes. |
