Til death do us part:

Her lips are smeared with bloody red
and here she'll remain in my head
as I cannot pass this picture frame
without the burden of eternal shame.

-----

Man's best friend:

He put his wife out in the cold.
His dog went too in a move so bold.
So guess which one was happy to find
that he opened the door and changed his mind.

-----

Is it him or is it me:

Excessive worry and panic attacks.
Anxiety disorder and down the wrong tracks
when impairment and distress is on the slate
with these warning signs of your first date!

-----

Fallen angels:

Their wings were clipped just in case.
The gravity of the situation is in place
so they walk among us in silent disgrace
as a permanent fixture of the human race.

-----

Otherworldly greetings:

My hands are cold and I have a chill
in this strange condition which haunts me still
as you must endure my grammatical dread
when receiving a text message from the dead.

Hope in dogs

For sure you are no fallen Angel Colin, though many of us may be. Regrettably these days, grammar is dying out as is the art of dating. We are left to ponder however, from reading your poems, why it is that humans cannot seem to be as forgiving as dogs.
