When Women Talk To Their Men: 5 Poems

He seems so pale and his skin is cold.
His loving arms no longer hold
my body close to him in bed.
The man I married now is dead!

-----

With this skill testing question comes a clue
when moments like these are so few
and you may have noticed that my eyes are blue
so just look at me when I'm talking to you!

-----

They knock on the door but I'm not home right now
as I try to avoid this sacred cow
and my substance abuse has given me just cause
to dissolve the memory of your in-laws!

-----

He once gazed upon me with those piercing eyes
but now resorts to his alibis
that love has become an extension of lust
and is as irrelevant as my sagging bust!

-----

He still talks to me but looks at her.
A little too long I must concur
as now I admit humiliation and defeat.
The female in question has two extra feet!

Such is life

Great observations on male-female communication or lack here of - sad but oh so very true.
