Five Songs Which Will End The World: 5 Poems

The Banality of Evil:
By wearing a MP3 in my ear
all my troubles seem to disappear
with a mission in mind that's very clear
your car will blow when put in gear.
--------
The Blues at sunrise:
They shipped me to the wrong address
and now DOA has confirmed this mess.
Hawaii is sunny and warm all day
but Transylvania is where I need to lay.
--------
"Rock 'n Roll all night":
My casket is lined with total bliss
and in the afterlife you cannot miss
when speakers play and speak of this:
Long live the army who follow Kiss!
--------
They no longer sing:
Silence is our only prey
for those of us who quietly lay
amongst the remnants of all mankind
with no birds today no peace of mind.
-------
Requiem:
Mozart awoke from the fever of a dream.
He promoted the vanguard of a psychedelic stream
and the classics were considered a passing phase
with his impassioned prelude to Purple Haze!
