Frizz My Hair
Author: Pondering Red

Frizz my hair,
tie my stomach in hard knots,
rattle my old house,
shake my coffee table.

Question marks
floating in the air -
large ones,
swimming around
my living room,
hitting the walls,
bouncing up and down.

I am dizzy.
My hair flys in all directions,
towards the full moon -
You call.
My heart pounds badly.
Distress -
Blood rushes to my head -
Headache -
Your speech loud -
garbled -
I cannot get words out.
They are lost.
Lack of interest -
hyper man -
I am worn out
we have
not had
a lousy
coffee yet.
