It looks perfect
To be loved back
On the outside looking in
Wonder what's the feeling like
Beholding the beauty
Never wondering
If they feel the same way

Heaven in their presence
Resting in peace
Warming his soul
That the possibilities can happen
To even this ignored man
Tired and sick of a cold world
That tested him so

He's now a man
Pieces of his soul
Made whole
He can rest in peace
Knowing he was at last loved back
