The Falling
Author: Arianne

Wander off,
look at the wall.
Thoughts go haywire,
tears start to fall.

Time seems to stop,
no one sees,
the cause of this mess
of your feelings.

'Stop!' You scream,
as images flash through your head.
On the sidewalk,
fallen, dead.

He means so much,
did he have to kill?
Kill himself,
always surreal.

He was in his own world.
Breaking down.
hearing voices,
hearing sounds.

He went crazy,
from months on end.
Crying, seeing,
His death a blend.

His girlfriend left,
went away,
after seeing another guy
in 'that way.'

He looked down
at his body,
on the sidewalk.
Dead of a falling.

Blood everywhere,
skull shattered.
Images of people,
more in a clatter.

'My life wasn't that bad.'
He tells himself,
as he seeps in blackness,
and sees return to greatness.

A tunnel, he sees.
Images of life,
of death,
of pain and war.

'If only I had a second chance...'
Never again,
would he come alive,
while he leaves everyone in pain.
