Where The Wolves Cry
Author: Jim Munro

Like the darkness that engulfs us
To when the sun changes its face
Perhaps what I feel too deeply
Must remain for one soul to guard

When The light shines on me
I hide what I just can't say
Living in some sacred silence
Where the wolves cry

In the ashes of a long dead fire
Now drifting with the winds four
Slip through my fingers as though
They never came to burn.

Now I hide what I just can't say
So longing for you to know
Now I must return home
Where the woves cry

To the plains I must watch over
Untouched by the ashes and coal
What I guard truly with my life
Would I give my life to release?

Now I hide what I just canít say
I wish you could know why
Now I must return home
Where the wolves cry
