The Sun And Moon, Are Headed For A Fight

The Moon says, I am the star of love,
Tender hearts look up to me,
Then, they embrace…, with loving arms,
Sun, how can you, compete with me?

The Sun replies, I warm the earth
And from my smile, life is born
Lover’s call my gift of love, pretty, flowers…,
Which they give to each other, do you have, such Power?

The Moon replies, no, I do not, have that power
But. once the power of your flowers
Has been shared, with their hearts
And you are gone, they embrace, and look up to me

Things are now, starting to get tense
The Sun and Moon, each, have their, own defense
Who will win and who will loose
Is it up to them, our to me and you?

I’d say, in defense of each, my love
Would die, before it was born, if,
I didn’t feel, the warmth of a heart
That held me close, beneath the moon

I wrote these words, late one night,
Had a dream, the Sun and Moon
Were going to, have a fight
Upon a cloud, which I see Day and Night

I wrote these words…, I need you Sun to warm
My lover’s heart, with all your pretty flowers
And I need you Moon, to bring my love’s
Arms around me, when the day is through

As loving hearts, we need you both
We see no difference, in the two of you
If, you fight, what will we do,
Now, tell our hearts, who will live or die?

If the Sun and the Moon, decide to Fight?

Possibly

Quite possibly my new favorite poem of all time. Love the sun, the moon, and all that you have written here. Such an intriguing topic of choice, not to mention, so incredibly well put.
Did I mention that I like it?
LOL
Congratulations Martin, you've outdone yourself this time.

Who...,Is this Mysterious Lady?

Leaho6;

For you, being who you are and, close to my heart, and this is a key,my N....,since you are a young lady, I'm going to tell you and only you, who Lady L is, and of course, this is confidential, no one else can read this, Okay?

Lady L., to me is, Gentleman L, to you. Someone you search for, someone you have saved all your love for. As you search for love like this, love unknown, but by very few, you write about how much want to find and love someone, as I search and write for her, I feel within your poems, you write as I do, but you write for him. So, that is my Lady L, I, write her, her, her, my Lady L-ove.

Now, do you understand?, Leaho6, I write for her, as you write for him.
