Listen For The Click

Well, I was feeling pretty good, until I opened up the mail
Read her thank you note, telling me, to go to Hell !
I hadn’t known her for very long, but considered her a friend
We watched a classic movie, “Gone With The Wind.”

Guess, I said something wrong, Damn,
Here, we go again
I guess it might have been
When Mr. Butler said,
“Frankly, My Dear, I don’t Give A Damn,”

Then I popped off with two thumbs in the air
and said, all right, my kind of man.

Now, she was just a friend of mine,
Not like we were sharing flesh, or anything
God, made girls of flesh and bone
But I have to tell you what, for a heart
I think he gave them all, a land mine.

So, Guys, be careful of what you say,
take some time and think it through
And once you’ve said it
If she’s sitting next to you
I suggest you listen
And if, you hear a “click”
God, help you!

Martin this is funny to me anyways but then again I have a sick sense of humour. I thought when you hear a click it's the phone co.Ha Hha If people want to get rid of me, just tell me to buzz off. I won't but tell people. Heeeee. good writing martin as usual.

To You All, Thanks!!!!!

Sometimes, things just click and sometimes the click and go boom! I know the sound of Boom. However, this was just a poem about one time when it just went Boom!

"She" called me a few days later and apoligized for using the word hell. However, she also said that she tought, I would be comfortable there!

This is an apology/, go figure.....,"Click."

CUTE!!!

Your poem was so cute. I am a girl so I know how we can get. But the funny thing is you can't live without us!!!
Martin Vann (65.56.174.155) -- Tuesday, April 8 2003, 06:32 pm

To: Finley and all...,

We guys, "we" meaning the little people in this world, gifted with small brains, Salute you girls, who have the large brains. Yes, Michael, there would be no life at all without, without you Girls, Women, Ladies, Lovers, Truth Tellers, Big-eyed, tear weepers and most of all, Makers of men, and the list goes on.
