With A Song In Mind
Author: Clive B Ringshall
I see you holding my hand,
I feel your lips so sweet,
You feel my love true for you,
All I feel I say to you,
I watch you sleep so at ease,
A tear falls from my eye,
As I see you so close,
If you'd ask me why this I'd say,
I love you, in everything I do,
My love grows even though we're apart,
Now I'm sad inside,
Knowing you're with another,
Knowing it's him you chose,
It's not you; you said that night,
I love you; you told me at last,
You loved me as you said goodbye.

I can see you two right now. The joyous memories of what was. I love the whole poem; esp. lines 1-7! Divine Clive, "With a song in Mind" should win an award for such heartfelt words/lyrics! LOL!
