Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow
Author: Bench

There was a time
When laughter was cheap
And sorrows were far away.
A bathe in the rain
Or a lazy afternoon
Up in a tree
Not a thing to worry.

But those days
Seem to be gone.
Now everything has a price
Even just to smile
Can mean life or death
In this crazy world.

And so we search for meaning
So that our offsprings
May enjoy life
The way we did
So many years ago
When laughter was cheap
And sorrows were far away.

Godd times, just a memory away...,

There are occasions when, I find the time to smile, say good morning and even listen to the reply. Yet, when I want to really, have some fun, I go back, back in time and smile, reliving my time, as a kid. For sahme, we forget, those times, those years, now shattered into minutes, into seconds. Sometimes I want to say, screw all this, let's go fishing, but, just don't have the time.

Excellent work Bench

TO BENCH................

You are so right. In today's society, there's a price for everything.
