Working For A Chicken, Looking Like A Monkey

Author: TedBeck
Working for a chicken,
Looking like a monkey,
Wish we had a better way,
Wish we had some money,

Dancing on some water,
Giving out my number,
Giving out an order,
Then you scream,
And everyone knows why,
And when I dream,
It only makes me cry,
Thinking like a Sunday,
Glowing in a garden,
You talking love,
Me talking pardon,
Then you turn,
To look me in the eye,
You sing my name,
And I begin to cry,
When you stand to leave,
