Lamentations Of The Noldor: Of The Grief Of The Noldor
Author: Bench

The peoples of Feanor
Are now divided.
The curse they shall ever endure.
Kinsmen shall not recognize them
For killing their own,
And peace in their hearts will never be known.

Such was the grief of the Noldor
Who lost the graces of Valinor
Ever they shall seek the peace
That will always elude them.
Many have perished,
More spirits to Mandos will be surrendered.

Long and hard their travels will be.
Their numbers have dwindled
All for the great aspiration
Of laying claim to the greatest ever
What is rightfully of the Noldor
The beautiful Silmarils.

------- Author's Notes -------

These are original works insofar as I based them on a story by J.R.R. Tolkien.
It was in prose form and I translated it into poetry.
