i will miss
waking up to your sweet smile,
and that sensual touch.
walking in the rain
holding onto your hand
having breakfast outside
one of our favorite times
when the thunder storm arrives
it sets our love burning
the smooth jazz music in the back ground
no one can put that fire out
making love in the middle of the day
the neighbors envious of our closenes
and the honeymoon they thought lasted way too long
I do not want to go thru any season with out you
but when I hear that thunder storm approaching
and see lightining strike
I know you will be close by calling my name
announcing that you have arrived
I will visualize
your body and your sweet lips pressed up against mine
the oiled down massages we shared
embracing thru a sunrise and a sunset
as we lay under the moon-light
hearing your voice
crying on your shoulder
the sound of your laughter
the wild things you did
babe I will miss you ,if only it could be done
darling with out hesitating
if there was any magic at all
I'd use it on you
take you out of this hospital bed
take you home with me this very day
and have you home by tonight
to share another sunset and wake up to a sunrise
I'd be able to cuddle up with you
my body could keep you warm
thru-out the entire night
i'd just lay there holdig you
caressing and appreciating every moment with you
I'd serve you breakfast in bed
if it was for the last time
I'd make a thunder storm of my own
right in our very room
my tears and my heart would play the biggest part
I'd share all the wonderful feelings
you have given to me since day one
for the moment all I can do is hold your hand
and enjoy these precious moments we share
our music has to be the monitors beeping
you still have that special glow
to those green eyes the window to your soul
you still light up a room with that sensual smile
I'll be here if you need me in the waiting room,
I made roost there day and night for 1 week
they only allow me to sit with you 15 minutes at a time on the hour
that isn't fair,I know
I'll only be a few steps away,
i will always yearn for your presence
I will always love you darling
even as I ride this storm alone....
my love for you continues to be strong...

I Seem What You Mean

Terrie,

I can see you in the waiting room, twisting your hands and fingers, while in the other room he lingers, so close, yet so far away. I'm sure he is sharing this poem with all his friends. I also see, what you mean about previous comments to your poems, this is all, difficult to imagine, but then, that is what poets do. You are still a lucky woman, to have known this man of yours.

Beautiful,
MartinV
