Just Walk Away
Author: Tricia

Just a lil girl, not much to say.
Was made fun of each day.
Threw the laughter and remarks.
I just told myself walk away.

Growing up was so hard to do.
That girl noone saw threw.
Lonely and sad just gliding threw
each day.
Heart was broken, never seemed to be unspoken.
when all else failed i just kept walking away.

College years, and so many more tears.
You came along, thought youd be long gone.
Figure you'd be another one that just walked away.

You stayed by myside, for all you could.
Then they called you up and you had to go.
As you left to board the plane a kiss a hug.
A quick wave goodbye; then you turned to leave
You just kept walking away.
Never looked back not one glance.

More heart was breaking, my soul was aching,
you never looked back, you just kept walking away.

Walking away to that world unknown. I know you'll
be walking back my way soon.

I found another that could turn my head,
make me feel special and say all the things you said.
But I keep walking away. Knowing you'll come back to me one day.
