Dear lord
I felt the need to overstay
my welcome today
I know you could
hear it in my voice
I simply cannot hide behind these eyes
I know I can not avoid you
or pretend i do not care
as you witnessed these warm tears
rolling down my cheek
resting themselves frozen upon my lips
from the pain and heartache
I have caused you and myself
every word I spoke
showed a tattletale sign
even in the breaths that I took
Lord I need your touch
to help me move on
I need your love to to help me love again
I need your strength to pick me up
I need your compassion to guide me
i need your touch to hold me together
I need you now..
back into my life...

Powerful words...,

Terrie;
Sometimes the highway, with its, white deviding lines, becomes a dusty road, no guide can we see, and we often cross what was, the center line. Yet, all we have to do is ask and he will lead the way.

Beautiful and meaningful.
