The Future Is The Past Is The History Is Today
27 May, 2002
Author: Maranda Berkley
In this world I know
No real place to go
Every corner a foe
What we reap we sow
In this time and place
Full of unwelcome faces
It's a struggle and a race
Too hard to reach a steady pace
In this here and now
Years continue to plow
Hopes never failing to sink down
Each night falling asleep without the sound
In this past and future
Both filled with lies and torture
Our history's never to mature
Reliving-but growing no more
